Billy D. Beaver by Lamaze is a really cute and imaginative toy for baby. He’s got short brown cuddly ‘fur’ and brilliant blue felt claws on his paws! He has a big friendly smile set against a vibrant yellow mouth area and a tangible little white felt tooth. He has black and white embroidered eyes and a green embroidered nose. His tummy is a smooth red satin print which when pressed gives a squeak - teaching cause and effect.

This little beaver wears a cute orange peak hat which can be turned up or down. He also holds in his paw a green velour and yellow print hammer that contains a rattle in the head. In addition, the head of the hammer is covered in a purple print fabric that makes ‘crinkle’ sounds when pressed. Similarly, the underside of his feet also makes this ‘crinkle’ sound and is in a stripe print.

Billy D's most attractive feature is his stunning tail! It incorporates 6 different colours in 3 different fabrics which gives interesting textures for baby to explore. In addition, it houses a small round mirror that baby can observe its own or your face in which according to research is their preferred view! The mirror is surrounded by 8 strips of 2cm different coloured satin ribbons stemming out from it for baby to explore and fascinate with. The back of the tail is in a soft touch material in black, white, grey and red stripes which is visually stimulating and ideal for baby in earlier days to encourage focus. Again, the tail also makes the intriguing ‘crinkles’ sounds when touched!

As with all Lamaze characters Billy D' Beaver comes with a link so that he can be attached to gyms, prams and toys bars so baby need never be apart from his playmate.
