Lamaze Rusty the Robot

Rusty the Robot by Lamaze looks intriguing with his square head and tummy and extending arms and legs in his many fabrics and features embedded in his cool outfit! His satin tummy features a mirror for engaging baby alongside his big red heart on one side and on the other a robot theme image featuring a colourful dial, clock and screen. This box shaped tummy measures 11cm by 5cm and is enclosed in a green velour fabric. He also has beautiful soft knitted stripe arms and yellow velvet accordion styled legs. Rusty holds 2 clanking rings to grasp, touch and teethe on – each is of a different shape to explore and help develop sensory skills. In his other hand he holds a ring with 2 Perspex busy beads on them to play with.

He wears groovy printed satin orange shoes with interesting satin strips springing out of them to explore – his shoes are also great for auditory development making crinkly sounds when pressed. Both the underside of his shoes and head are in a contrast black and white print fabric; ideal for visual stimulation and great for focus and interest when the toy is hung above baby such as on a gym.

Most interesting is his double sided box shape head which can be turned 360 degrees, forming two sides of play and making an ideal first transformer. His face features a big smile on both sides with one styling embroidered eyes. His ears lobes are in blue velvet and have little knotted antennas coming through which is great for teething. He also features a link so that he can be attached to gyms, prams and toys bars so baby need never be apart from his first robot.
