Lamaze Stretch The Giraffe

Suitable from birth to 2yrs this innocent looking giraffe has activities at every touch to stimulate and interest baby as it develops. Its underside is in a strong black and white geometric pattern which is stimulating and easier for baby’s eyes to focus on. Ideally then, it can be hung above baby such as from gyms and bouncers for baby to look up at using the built in linkable look. Stretch’s dangly legs may also encourage batting from this position.

Each leg is in a different colour print and as the name implies have a slight stretch to them. Each foot is in a sea blue soft velour fabric with a smooth satin underside. Out of each spring 8, 2cm coloured satin strips that baby can explore and tickle with. In addition, 2 of the feet have different sounding rattles to delight with and another has a squeaker to help teach cause and effect. The fourth foot contains special fabric that makes ‘crinkle crackle’ sounds when pressed.

The main body and neck are coated in a soft orange velour fabric with self-pattern circles adding explorative texture. In addition, this Lamaze giraffe has the most beautiful mane made from 24 pieces of 2cm satin strips in an array of 4 block colours; red, yellow, blue and green. He also features a gorgeous embroidered smile and eyes. The giraffe has ‘crinkle crackle’ material ears lined in gold satin and a pair of short antennas made from fabric tied in knots which can be ideal for chewing and soothing sore gums.

The 2 teething rings in bright colours and in different formations adorned around Stretch’s neck develop sensory skills and provide auditory awareness as they clank together. However as baby grows they come into their own as teething rings. Overall, it’s a baby toy with versatility and longevity!
