The Concept Behind Cuski
Cuski recommend that you keep their comforter with you (mummy/daddy) for a couple of days before passing on to your baby. Tuck it into your top next to your skin at feed time/sleep times and let it take in your unique aroma, then when the time comes to settle your little one down, pop Cuski in too. The closeness of you will stay with baby as she/he drifts off to sleep, leaving them warm and comforted.
Cuski is a calming, safe and healthy alternative to other infant comforters and has been fully tested and conforms to all relevant UK, European and International safety standards. It is practical and machine washable and retains its comforting softness wash after wash. Suitable from birth, Cuski has all the qualities a child looks for in a comforter - softness, suckabillity, sheer lovability and of course a label to twiddle but unlike a traditional blanket it can be easily replaced if lost or damaged. Cuski’s unique shape stimulates your Childs imagination; a round shape is the first shape a baby recognises.
Cuskis are being used in SCBU and neonatal hospital units in the UK, are recommended by midwives and are the ONLY baby comforter in the world used with its own written protocol for use in hospitals.
The History of Cuski
Cuski was developed by mum Suzanne Cannizzo who wanted to create a manageable, stylish comforter for her own demanding but lovable babies to replace their old worn out, elusive blanket ...
She had a vision to make a comforter which would be compact enough for little hands to explore, not bulky when travelling, gentle and cuddly enough for sensitive skin, fully washable and most importantly, mums could easily replace it when it went walk-about.
Ideas were juggled and with so much to do, material, design, concept, safety, lots of sleepless nights, at last it all came together - happily with the resounding endorsement of all the little ones and their friends ages from 0-3 years old........and hence Cuski was born.
