The History of Keel Toys
Keel Toys, established in 1947, is a third generation, family run business, under the directorship of brothers, Richard, David, John and James Keel. Each plays an active role within the company on a daily basis in the capacity of Managing Director, Financial Director, Sales Director and Marketing Director respectively.
Over the decades, the company has built a reputation for quality, reliability, value for money and cutting edge design. This dedication has enabled the expansion from the modest origins in Ramsgate, to the current operations headquarters at their 115,000sq ft distribution centre in Ashford, Kent.
Keel Toys is one of the largest designer, importer and exporters of soft toys in the UK with an extensive blue chip customer base. We continually strive to maintain this position, developing relationships with our customers built on trust, excellence, quality of service and innovative design from our in-house team.
High Standards of Safety
Keel Toys Ltd is committed to supplying beautiful soft toys for babies and toddlers and toy safety is of paramount importance to their production of their ranges.
They are a Gold Member of Equitoy, a toy trade association which aims to maintain high standards within the industry and as such, have a written ToyCred safety system manual together with an annual compliance audit.
