Babycity Photo Competition Terms and Conditions.
By submitting a photo and by voting, you agree to abide by our terms and conditions. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
 
Who Can Enter?
The competition is open to anyone, but they must have the baby's parent's permission to submit a photo.
 
Must the Photo/Film be Original?
Yes. By entering babycity.co.uk baby photo competitions, the entrant represents, acknowledges and warrants that the submitted image is an original work created solely by the entrant and that no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the photograph. Any photographs deemed inappropriate will not be eligible.
 
What are the Opening and Closing Dates of the Competition?
Competition dates vary and are listed on the competition page.
 
Who Will Judge the Images/Films?
Judging varies depending on each competition and will be explained at the time the competition is set. For example, one competition may be judged by the public in the form of a voting system, in the case of a tie-breaker, the babycity.co.uk staff will have the final decision. Alternatively, babycity.co.uk may select a winner from a set criteria set at the time of the competition.
 
Is There a Limit to the Number of Images I Can Submit?
No. An individual can enter as many images as desired. Only digital images with a caption and description will be accepted. 
 
What Rights Will BabyCity.co.uk Retain in Submitted Photos/Films?
babybity.co.uk reserves the right to use the photographs/films in printed materials, email campaigns and websites promoting babycity.co.uk around the world without paying compensation to the photographer or the subjects. Where they are displayed every effort will be made to credit the photographer. All entries must be free of claims and rights of third parties. Photos/Films will not be used externally to the babycity.co.uk network.
 
What Rights Will Entrants Retain?
Entrants retain all rights to future use of their photographs/Films.
 
What is the General Agreement?
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the judging organization, which are final on all matters pertaining to contest. The return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Only one vote per email address will be counted for each baby. Only votes from users with a genuine email address will be counted.
 

Prizes may not in any circumstances by substituted or exchanged for any cash value. If any prize listed is not available then a similar alternative will be offered.

babycity.co.uk is not responsible for entries not received due to lost, failed, delayed or interrupted connections or miscommunications, or other electronic malfunctions. babycity.co.uk is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by persons entered at the website or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest or by any human error, which may occur in the processing of the entries in this contest.
 
By entering, participants release and hold harmless babycity.co.uk and its employees from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest.
 
If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of being conducted as planned, including any causes beyond the control of the administrators, babycity.co.uk reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, suspend or terminate the contest without notice to the entrants.
 
Entry into the contest does not create any vested right or interest for the participants in the prizes offered for the contest.

Winners will be announced by email and through social media.
