The Senses
The colorful, large toys hang from the Musical Take-Along Arch and offer visual stimulation. The music from the middle toy offers auditory stimulation and the different textures stimulate baby's sense of touch.

Fine Motor Skills
The hanging toys invite baby to reach out and strike or grasp, first by chance and later quite intentionally as hand-eye coordination improves. The interesting and diverse structure of the toys, such as the prominent head and feet, help baby grasp the toy from different angles, and help her practice different grasping methods.

Gross Motor Skills
Baby extends her hand and makes the toys move, which encourages her to do it again, strengthening her arm muscles.

Cognitive Skills

As baby learns that her actions cause the toys to swing, she is internalizing the concept of cause and effect.

1-2 months

  • At this age, babies need a variety of sensory stimuli, and the Musical Take-Along Arch provides both a rich visual experience with motion, and auditory feedback at the same time.
  • The music as well as the large, colorful toys, suspended at the optimal distance from her eyes – approximately 10 inches (25 cm.) – attract her attention.
  • When the carriage is in motion, the toys dangle to provide dynamic visual stimulation for baby to gaze at.
Playing with this toy
Make certain that the toys are suspended at the optimal distance, approximately 10 inches (25 cm.), from your baby's eyes. Occasionally activate the musical toy to encourage your baby to look at it. Place the musical toy to the side, to encourage her to turn her head right and left. When standing still, occasionally move the arch a little to help your baby focus on objects in motion.

2-4 months
  • The Musical Take-Along Arch offers an excellent opportunity to develop hand-eye coordination, as baby reaches out and learns to touch the toys directly - creating motion and auditory feedback.
  • First by chance, then on purpose, the feedback encourages baby to try it again and again.
  • In the fourth month, baby enjoys holding the toys and bringing them to her mouth for further exploration – developing her sense of touch.
Playing with this toy
Make sure that the toys are suspended within your baby's reach. At this stage, baby will only be able to extend her hand forward, without crossing midline. The toy in the middle is for visual stimulation only. Occasionally activate the musical toy to encourage baby to gaze at it. At four months, your baby may be able to reach past midline. Place the musical toy to the side to encourage your baby to turn her head right and left, and extend her hand to reach it.

4-8 months
  • With her well-developed senses and control over her arms, baby can now reach out and strike the toy, hold it, pull it towards her and intentionally act to produce the musical feedback from the middle toy.
  • She enjoys listening to its lovely sounds, while learning about cause and effect as she makes the toy swing.

Playing with this toy
Change the position of the toys periodically, so that baby can see the different toys from different angles. Make certain that your baby can reach the toys in order to grasp them and bring them to her mouth for further exploration.

  • Musical hippo

  • Crocodile rattle
  • Three playful tunes to enjoy
  • On/Off switch for music feature
  • Adjustable loops for varying the height of the toys
  • Extra loops for adding baby's favorite toys
  • Adjustable angle for baby's comfort
In her first months, before she learns to grasp objects or sit up, your baby will most appreciate things she can look at and listen to. Her vision will be fuzzy at first and she'll fix on things that are about eight to 14 inches from her eyes. She's drawn to the human face, and can recognize yours at about 1 month, but she will also enjoy large character toys like the ones on the The Tiny Love musical arch.
High-contrast patterns and bright colors captivate her because they're the easiest for her to see. She's already learned to appreciate sounds and soft music. Objects that move slowly and produce a gentle sound are far more interesting to her than those that are fixed and silent, so she will love this product and it will keep her entertained when out and about with the buggy.
Activity bars like this hung with dangling, squeaky, tuggable toys that fit across an infant seat, car seat, or stroller make an ideal travel toy to keep her entertained.
This means that on long car trips or stroller rides, your baby can divert himself by exploring all the interesting noisy, grippable objects in front of him.

Play is absolutely necessary for development and for your child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. It's your child's way of learning about his body and the world, and he'll use all five senses to do it, especially in the first year.

What does this feel like when I touch it? What does this sound like when I squeeze it? What will happen if I push this or pull that? Crawl over there? Pull myself up on this? Explorations is the heart of play, and in your child’s mind any experiment counts, even hurling their dinner off the highchair tray!

As your child moves into the toddler years, his play will become more imaginative and complex. Through play, he'll exercise key skills and qualities, such as independence, creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving. It can also be an important place to explore feelings and values and develop social skills.
Tiny Love Stroller toys are essential developmental items for the buys baby-on-the-go. On a walk in the sunshine or a ride in the car, they stimulate her senses, encourage cognitive skills and provide emotional satisfaction.
