The Senses
The Sunny Stroll arch stimulates your baby’s vision with its colourful toys swaying in front of his eyes and other visual stimuli on the arch itself (the sun and the birds on the plastic wings). The crinkle and rattle sounds stimulate hearing. The various materials and fabrics (different types of plastic and selection of fabric textures) stimulate touch.

Fine Motor Skills
The toys hanging in front of your baby’s eyes, and later on, the attractive toys on the arch, encourage him to reach out and bat at them causing them to swing, and later to catch them and play with them. At first (during the second and third months) this action is random, as he reaches out his arms, your baby randomly touches the toy in front of him causing it to move. Gradually, as control of his arms improves, he begins to deliberately reach for the toy and bat it and later to hold it. As he grows, he learns to play with the toys on the arch – to pull, roll, twist, and rub them. In this way, he develops hand-eye coordination and control of his fingers.

Gross Motor Skills
Babies are in fact born without any control of their limbs. In the beginning, your baby strengthens his arm muscles as they flay about randomly. As he reaches randomly with his hands, he touches the toy hanging in front of him, causing it to move. This outcome encourages him to continue trying, strengthening his muscles in the process.

Cognition
The arch contributes to your baby’s understanding of the link between his actions and the various effects produced (cause & effect):

  • He learns that when he hits a toy hanging in front of him, it sways.
  • He learns that he can make the propeller spin by pulling the ball as well as by directly spinning.
  • In addition, he learns the link between spinning the propeller and the movement caused at its centre.
  • The toy stimulates your baby’s curiosity, encouraging him to explore and to understand the link between his actions and the feedback he receives.
0-2 months
  • During the first three months, your baby needs stimuli for watching and focusing. Stimuli should be placed at an optimal distance (8-12 inches) and should have some movement.
  • The Sunny Stroll’s three colorful toys within baby’s range of vision, bouncing as the stroller moves, form an attractive stimulus to keep watching.
Playing with this toy
Be sure to place the hanging toys at a distance of 8-12 inches, which is the optimal distance for your baby’s vision.

2-4 months
  • As he lies on his back facing the toys hanging within arms reach, he can look in the mirror, at the shining sun or at the toys hanging in front of him.
  • Your baby practices hand-eye coordination, reaching out and practicing to bat at the toys. At first he randomly bats the toy causing it to sway. He gradually learns to control his hand and manages to bat the toy deliberately.
  • At four months, you baby enjoys holding the toys and begins putting them in his mouth for further exploration, developing his sense of touch.
Playing with this toy
Make sure that the toy is hanging at arms length from your baby, and low enough for him to lift his arm randomly and hit it. At this stage you baby only reaches forward with his hands and is not able to bring his arms beyond his mid line. The middle toy is only for vision.

4-6 months
  • Baby’s developing senses and hand control allows him to reach out to the toys confidently, to bat them, hold them and pull them to his mouth for further exploration.
  • Towards the end of this period, your baby pulls the hanging ball causing the propeller to spin – a fun effect that encourages him to continue pulling the ball. In this way your baby learns about cause & effect (the link between his actions and their outcome).
  • Now, with the arch slightly bent, your baby can reach the toys on top of the arch and play with them: turning the propeller, touching the sun’s rays or rubbing the butterfly’s wings.

Playing with this toy
From time to time swap the toys around so that your baby sees the same toys from different angles. Occasionally bend the arch so that your baby can look at the toys on top of it and try to reach them. Now and again pull on the ball hanging under the propeller to encourage him to pull and make the propeller spin.

6 months +
  • Your baby can now sit up and easily reach the activities on the arch and play with them: confidently pulling the propeller, twisting the wings, spinning the see-through ball in the butterfly’s body, while watching and patting the sun’s face or rubbing its rays to hear the pleasant rustle sound made by the rays and butterfly’s wings.
Playing with this toy
Attach the arch or fold it so that your baby can reach the toys on the top of the arch to explore and play with. Swap the two hanging toys with other, new ones, to renew his interest in them.
  • Baby activated propeller
  • Transparent sun prism
  • Rattling butterfly ball with crinkly texture
  • Flower mirror
  • Crinkly butterfly
  • Flexible arch with angle adjustment
  • Easy attachment clips
In her first months, before she learns to grasp objects or sit up, your baby will most appreciate things she can look at and listen to. Her vision will be fuzzy at first and she'll fix on things that are about eight to 14 inches from her eyes. She's drawn to the human face, and can recognize yours at about 1 month, but she will also enjoy large toys and characters that dangle from The Tiny Love Sunny Stroll.

High-contrast patterns and bright colors captivate her because they're the easiest for her to see. She's already learned to appreciate sounds and soft music. Objects that move slowly and produce a gentle sound are far more interesting to her than those that are fixed and silent.

Activity bars like this hung with dangling, squeaky, tuggable toys that fit across an infant seat, car seat, or stroller make an ideal travel toy to keep her entertained.

This means that on long car trips or stroller rides, your baby can divert himself by exploring all the interesting noisy, grippable objects in front of him.

Play is absolutely necessary for development and for your child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. It's your child's way of learning about his body and the world, and he'll use all five senses to do it, especially in the first year.

What does this feel like when I touch it? What does this sound like when I squeeze it? What will happen if I push this or pull that? Crawl over there? Pull myself up on this? Explorations is the heart of play, and in your child’s mind any experiment counts, even hurling their dinner off the highchair tray!

As your child moves into the toddler years, his play will become more imaginative and complex. Through play, he'll exercise key skills and qualities, such as independence, creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving. It can also be an important place to explore feelings and values and develop social skills.
Tiny Love Stroller toys are essential developmental items for the buys baby-on-the-go. On a walk in the sunshine or a ride in the car, they stimulate her senses, encourage cognitive skills and provide emotional satisfaction.

brilliant piece of kit-especially for long car journeys. It's quite big, but my baby loved all the different things to look at and touch, plus it's a lot of toys in one so value for money.Adapts to most pushchairs or car seats. Excellent
